Jack In The Box  3                                                8-2025

Working With Wood

I made this end cap out of some wood that will go into the PVC.

I shot some black paint on it and now it's ready to be pressed in.

This was an easy thing to make and didn't take that long. And I think it looks much better now than it did before.

Installation

I'm in the back room at Open Door Escape Games getting ready to install and test out the hand crank. My son-in-law made the Jack-in-the-box and we're working on it here.

Here is a look on the inside and everything is installed. It's a simple setup and it works really well. The motor runs on 12v DC and will be hooked up to an electronic box to control it.

Here is what the box looks like inside the Escape Room all ready to be used. They gave this box a distressed look because they didn't want anything to look too nice. After all, this is suppose to be a scary game.

And here is the view from behind the gate that the players will see. This was another fun project and I hope everyone will enjoy it when they play this game.
