| Modification Time Continued    I have the serving tray clamped to an angle plate and
the angle plate is clamped to my table. I used a 3/4" diameter, 2 flute
high speed steel end mill for the slots. Once the first slot was
finished, I rotated my work piece, found the center line, clamped it in
place and cut the other slot.

      | I applied a coat of mineral oil first and the
next day I put on a coat of wood wax. Now the wax is too hard to apply
right out of the can so I put a little in a separate cup, set it outside
for about 10 to 15 minutes in the summer heat and then it's ready to go.
