33 Coupe Having Fun 52       5/30/07

I've seen this Chevy pickup a couple of times and don't get tired of looking at it. The bed was done just as nice as the interior.

I heard a loud siren and when I turned around, this is what I saw. This old fire truck looked way cool.

Here is a super clean 1953 Chevy panel that was another very nice ride. With no hole in the hood to lend a clue, you wouldn't know there was a monster lurking under there. The two 750's on top of that 8-71 probably give those big tires in the back a short life and a wild ride.

Here's something that would freak you out if you were being pulled over while drinking, or anytime for that matter. This is a police robot that is attached to the front of a patrol car and once the officer is stopped, he deploys this unit which then motors over to your car. It has a camera, speaker, lights and an arm that reaches out so you can place your drivers license into a special holder. Once the officer has asked all the normal questions via the robots speaker, he can retract the robots arm so he can check out your license, all while the officer sits in his car.

This unit was made for high risk stops that he might encounter which would enable the officer to look inside the car before he steps out of his patrol car.

Another special device devolved for the cops is attached to the front of that GMC.  It's made to punch holes in your tires while he drives behind you. Think "Stop Sticks" but on steroids for this new toy. This device is about 15 feet long and rides under the SUV till you tell it to deploy. Once you hit the switch, this unit slides out from under the taller SUV and can travel up to 40 feet in front of the cop and then has stop sticks attached to two arms that come out like wings. Once the cop is close enough, the guy he's trying to stop ends up running over these arms and their tires go flat. This isn't for every car chase but it has it's place. Both units are prototypes and may soon make there way into a police force near you.

Here are a couple of nice rides. I love the stance they both have.
